Caitlynn watercolor portrait in progress Day 2
Caitlynn Portrait still in Progress..Coming along nice. I really like these Watercolor Pencils. Caitlynn is so excited about this painting. She comes over to my Work Area and says "Thats Me!" With a Smile on her face. The Above painting in progress still has pencil lines that havent been blended out yet. I look forward to finishing this!

So it is Snowing today! The day after Christmas! The girls are excited and it is so peaceful and beautiful out. Maybe a Painting of the backyard to come? Hope everyones christmas was great!

OK..So Its almost Christmas! Tonight I took the girls out in the toasty car to look at christmas lights! So Fun! They had a blast. When we came home we all had some of my homemade Eggnog Icecream with Candy Cane Shavings! Yum! I LOVE THE HOLIDAY FLAVORS! :-)

The Long Drive to Christmas
Almost Every few years my family and I drive up the Coast to NY to spend Christmas and the New Year with my Husbands Family. It is about a 17 Hour Drive straight. We Leave at night after dinner so the kids will sleep thru most of the drive. By the Time we reach the NY state Border the Sun is just starting to come up and the Tempurature is Freezing, the fields are covered in snow and an eerie sunrise breaks the night.

Lavender Fields By Artist Angela Ungren ...CFAI Art Challenge Honorable Mention Award for May
This Painting is so special to me. I grew up in Washington State and Every year my family and I would go to the lavender Festival in Sequim Washington. It is a Tour of 6-7 Lavender farms in that area, With Vedors and Great Food, Such as Lavender Icecream, Lavender Mochas And More!
This Painting is 11x14 Oil On Wrapped Canvas, with the Painting continued around the sides. It can be hung as is or framed. This painting was painted using a knife and brush.
This Painting Recieved Honorable Mention in a Recent CFAI ART CHALLENGE Contest!
